Naylor Concrete has invested more than £30,000 in the creation of additional office space at its Barugh Green site near Barnsley to accommodate the company’s continued expansion.
Created by the refurbishment of a disused building located at the site, the new offices were required to accommodate an expanding Naylor Concrete team. Due to open later this month, they will become home to the business’ technical team.
Helen MacIntosh, Technical and Development Director for Naylor Concrete, comments: “Naylor Concrete has experienced a sustained period of strong sales growth and as a result, we’ve been recruiting additional employees across all parts of the business which in turn has put pressure on our existing office facilities. By refurbishing an old and previously unused building on site we have been able to ensure that members of our sales and marketing team are located together in our current purpose built offices while all members of the technical team can work together in newly refurbished modern office facilities located on the same site.”
A Yorkshire based construction products manufacturer, Naylor Concrete has more than 60 years’ experience in manufacturing and supplying high performance concrete solutions, and now employs more than 70 people at its Barugh Green site.
The company manufactures concrete lintels, precast concrete and concrete fencing products, and is part of Naylor Industries Plc, a leading and long-established manufacturer which has a 130-year track record in the provision of construction products.
