EPD & CARBON FOOTPRINT DOCUMENT LAUNCHED FOR NAYLOR RETAINING WALLS AND LIQUID HOLDING TANKS

Developed as part of Naylor’s commitment to delivering net zero carbon, the new EPD provides customers and end users with a thorough cradle-to-grave carbon impact assessment which covers every part of the products lifecycle from raw material extraction and manufacture through to installation and disposal.  The third EPD to be developed by Naylor Concrete, it will be of particular value to specifiers working on BREEAM projects.

The supporting Carbon Footprint Manufacture document provides additional information which enables contractors and merchants to compare the carbon footprint of the range against products made by other manufacturers.

Helen MacIntosh, Technical Director at Naylor Concrete Products, comments: “When combined, our EPD and Carbon Footprint Manufacture documents provide end users,  specifiers, merchants and contractors with comprehensive information about the full environmental impact and carbon footprint of Naylor Concrete products.  As such they enable customers to make informed decisions about the products they choose and ultimately, will help the construction industry make net zero a reality.”

Developed in-house by Naylor Concrete’s technical team, all of the company’s EPD and Carbon Footprint Manufacturing documents can be downloaded at www.naylorconcrete.co.uk/net-zero/
