CONCRETE TECHNOLOGIST ACHIEVES CHARTERED MANAGEMENT STATUS

We would like to wish our Concrete Technologist, Dave Jenkins, a huge congratulations for receiving his qualification as a Chartered Manager from the Chartered Management Institute!

The Chartered Manager qualification signifies the highest level of professional recognition in the management and leadership field. It acknowledges managers who demonstrate exceptional skills in both management and leadership, as well as a strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

This status showcases to employers and peers the tangible value of a professional approach that delivers measurable results.

There are a range of benefits from the qualification for both the organisation they work for and the individual.

According to the CMI:

  • 81% of Organisations with Chartered Managers say that since becoming Chartered, their employee has used their managerial skills to lead people and manage change.

  • 78% of Organisations said that since becoming Chartered, they have had a positive impact on the wider team in their organisation, such as increased employee engagement.

Plus, when asked by the CMI, individuals who had completed the qualification said the following:

  • 91% agreed that their self-awareness had improved

  • 81% said their management skills had significantly improved

We asked Dave what this qualification meant to him...

“Through obtaining this qualification, it has enhanced my personal management skills and enabled me to effectively utilise information which, in future, could help me in the decision-making and operational processes at Naylor Concrete and the wider Naylor Industries.”

We’re very proud of Dave and his achievements, as well as his continued dedication to Naylor Concrete. Supporting our staff through training and CPD is, and always has been, incredibly important to us.
