He brings more than 20 years’ EHS experience working for a range of manufacturing businesses including Sheffield Forgemasters where he was Group Health and Safety Manager and, most recently, Omega PLC where he was Health, Safety and Environment Manager. His extensive experience includes managing all elements of EHS for sugar plants, steel works, airports and Drax power station. A chartered member of IOSH, he holds a NEBOSH Diploma and Environmental Certificate.
Naylor Concrete’s Managing Director Paul Whyte comments: “We consider the appointment of a dedicated EHS Manager to be vital for the next stage of our business’ development as we seek to drive growth and to meet our net zero targets for the benefits of our customers, employees, the communities in which we operate and society as a whole. Simon has considerable experience of leading EHS activities in a diverse range of manufacturing businesses, and we’re delighted to welcome him to the Naylor team.”
