Padstones
Manufactured from high strength dense concrete, our padstone range products distribute the load on to the surrounding block or brickwork in construction.
More Information
Strong, dense concrete padstones which complement our prestressed lintel range.
A padstone is a dense block made from concrete that is used to distribute a point load evenly into a structure. In modern buildings they are typically installed to distribute the concentrated load evenly at points where the ends of beams and lintels are built into a wall.
Naylor manufactures a range of strong, dense concrete padstones which complement our prestressed lintel products. With a minimum strength of 50N/mm2, Naylor padstones come in 17 standard section sizes for wall thicknesses of 100mm, 140mm and 215mm. We can also supply two sections of L-shaped padstones.
Typical Applications & Uses
Naylor concrete padstones are suitable for use in applications where there is a requirement to distribute a point load evenly into a structure.
Product Certifications
Please note that concrete padstones are not covered by a harmonised standard.
